REP TEAMS
For those interested in playing at a competitive level, Northumberland Minor Lacrosse offers a representative box program for U7 through to U15 age groups.
Rep teams will compete in Zone 6, which includes teams from Durham region & Peterborough.
Rep box seasons typically run until the beginning of August & concludes with the Ontario Lacrosse Festival, where teams from all over Ontario compete for provincial championships.
Starting in 2023, Northumberland Nemesis Rep Program offers a Spring Field Lacrosse Program to our registered box players when numbers permit for the U9, U11, U13 & U15 divisions. The Spring season runs before the Rep Box season beginning in April & ending on the May long weekend. Teams generally play 2 games a week on either Saturday or Sunday during the season. The NMLA is proud to announce that coaching applications are now open for the 2026 representative season.
Please use the attached Form to submit your application before November 29.

What you need to know?
All players wishing to try out must be registered through the SportzSoft portal. Please select ‘rep tryout’ for the desired age group. If a player registers for rep & is not selected for the team, those funds would then be transferred to House League fees.
MR2.08(a)
A player resident in a community represented by a rep club entered in a category for which he is eligible to play, must register with that club except where such player’s services are waived by that club subject to the provisions of MR3.11.
NOTE: Any player who has not registered with their resident association by the following dates will be ineligible for a rep release. If a club folds a team for which the player would have been eligible, the player will not be eligible for a release under MR2.08(b).
